Symphony No.3 in b flat, opus 62, (2005) (with the Fanfare No.3)
2005 is the 10th anniversary of the Little Golden Sail Youth Symphony Orchestra of Zhongguancun No. 2 Primary School in Haidian District, Beijing. At the commission of Principal Yang Gang, the composer wrote this symphony to celebrate, and dedicated it to his father, Prof.Fei-lih Huang, who has devoted the lives to music education. This symphony is also dedicated to all teachers.
This symphony is traditionally composed in four movements:
In the first movement, a solemn and comfortable Adagio introduced its fiery Allegro assai, showing the boundless vitality of youth;
The title of Moderato in the second movement is "Song to all Teachers", and the love and gratitude to the teacher are all in it. The main melody of the movement is selected from the "Children's Sight Singing and Ear Training Course" compiled by the composer's mother, grandma Zhao Fangxing who devoted her whole live to the musical education, too. Her melody in the middle part is the kind children's song "Good Auntie, Good Auntie, Auntie is Like Mother!";
The third movement is a Scherzo, in which the melody is selected from the "Children's Sight Singing and Ear Training Course" compiled by Grandma Zhao Fangxing, too, wishing all children a dream come true;
The fourth movement Allegro andante, alla march is the composer’s "FANFARE No. 3" for the youth orchestra and choir. However, the lyric is written by Mr. Tao Xiping. As one of the founders of the Golden Sail Youth Symphony Orchestra, Tao Xiping's vigorous verses in his poems also sang everyone's aspirations: "Don't be afraid of strong winds or huge waves. Let the horn of victory spread throughout the world!"

An-lun Huang: Piano Trios 1 & 2
Bin Huang (violin), Alexander Suleiman (cello), Yubo Zhou (piano)
PREMIERE RECORDING An-lun Huang's piano trios dazzlingly demonstrate that contemporary music in no way has to be accessible only to a sworn community of experts. With his skill this Chinese-Canadian composer combines the best traditions from several world regions to produce a euphonious and harmonious whole - and does so with great class. The premiere ensemble for the Trio No. 2 from 2015 lends this first recording a special measure of authenticity. As a composer and as a teacher An-lin Huang is sought after throughout the world. His Chinese Rhapsody No. 2 marked the beginning of a breathtaking career: it was with this work that Huang's fellow Chinese musician Lang Lang played his way to the first prize in the youth section of the legendary Tchaikovsky Competition. Music is a tradition in the master's family: Huang's father was one of Paul Hindemith's last students at Yale.
